Privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, are processed via our website. Reef.eu considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. This data will only be processed on the basis of the purposes and grounds stated in paragraph 5.

4. Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16 years of age. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@brandfusion.nl, and we will delete this information.

5. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

  • If you have placed an order
  • Sending our newsletter via email
  • To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services
  • To inform you about (changes to) our services and products

  • Reef.eu analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website
  • Reef.eu also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.

  • In the login/register section of our website, you must first register. After registration, we will store the user name you have chosen and the personal data you have provided, so that you do not have to fill them in again every time and so that we can contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement. You can set, provide and change this data yourself.

Complaints form, chat, contact form and question form
 We offer the possibility to fill in a complaint form, chat widget and a contact form via our website. You will be asked to fill in your name and email address so that we can process and/or answer your question. The data that you send us will be stored for as long as necessary for the complete answer and handling thereof.

Newsletter
We offer a newsletter with which we share information with interested parties about e-commerce related matters, including relevant laws and regulations and related products and/or services of Reef.eu. You can register for this via the website or during the ordering process. Your name and e-mail address will automatically be added to the list of subscribers. Every newsletter sent contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.

6. How long do we store personal data?

Reef.eu does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which your data was collected. The data will then be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which your data was collected, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage (such as the fiscal retention obligation of seven years for payment data).

7. Sharing personal data with third parties

Reef.eu shares your personal data with carefully selected third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and/or to comply with a possible legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, Reef.eu remains responsible for these processes. This concerns external service providers, such as accountants, financial service providers, support of websites, applications and crm, parcel deliverers.

Reef.eu uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit our website. Reef.eu uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. In addition, we place cookies that track your surfing behaviour so that we can offer personalised content and advertisements. We also use a Facebook pixel to measure the performance of our Facebook advertisements. Google Analytics
 We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google in which agreements are made about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services and we have the IP addresses anonymized.

9. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data by Reef.eu. You can also submit a request to request a data transfer for data that we use with your consent, or indicate with reasons that you want us to limit the processing of personal data.
